Cold Forging and Hot Forging Options
We offer both cold forging and hot forging for metal parts. Cold forging is suitable for small parts that need high dimensional accuracy. Hot forging works for larger parts that need structural strength. Our forged metal parts cover a wide range, from small precision forgings of a few kilograms to large load-bearing parts of several hundred kilograms. You can choose the process that best fits your accuracy requirements and cost targets. We have 23 years of experience in forging. Our factory has a complete forging shop and heat treatment shop.

Dimensional Tolerance and Forging Ratio
For cold forged parts, we achieve CT4 to CT6 dimensional tolerance. For hot forged parts, we control to CT7 to CT10. Critical dimensions are held to your drawing requirements. The forging ratio depends on the application. Load-bearing parts require a ratio of at least 3. Non-load parts require a minimum of 2. The weight deviation is controlled. Parts under 10 kilograms are held to plus or minus 3 percent. Parts from 10 to 100 kilograms are held to plus or minus 4 percent. Parts over 100 kilograms are held to plus or minus 5 percent.

Inspection and Surface Finish
For load-bearing steel forgings, we perform both UT Level 2 internal inspection and MT magnetic particle surface inspection. This double check ensures there are no cracks or folds. We remove all flash and burrs. Sharp edges are chamfered to C0.3 to C1. The delivery state can be as-forged, annealed, normalized, quenched and tempered, or solution treated and aged as you specify. We clean the parts before shipping. No loose scale or dirt remains on the surface.
Hardness Consistency Control
One common problem with forgings is uneven hardness. Some parts are hard in one spot and soft in another. This makes machining difficult and can affect the final product performance. We control the furnace temperature uniformity and cooling rate during heat treatment. We measure hardness at multiple positions on each part. The hardness variation is kept within plus or minus 20 to 25 HB. This consistency is important for your machining process.
