Wear-Resistant Bushings for Rotating Applications
Copper alloy bushings are our specialty product for rotating and sliding applications. The bushing provides a wear-resistant interface between the shaft and the housing. It protects both the shaft and the housing from wear. Our bushings are made from tin bronze and aluminum bronze. These materials have excellent anti-friction properties. They run with low friction and good wear resistance under oil lubrication. Many construction equipment hinge points and reducer shaft positions use this type of bushing. We handle the whole process from casting to final machining.

Standard Tolerances and Surface Finish
The bore tolerance is held to H7 or H8. The outer diameter tolerance is held to h6. The bore surface has a roughness of Ra 1.6 micrometers or less. This ensures a smooth fit with the shaft. The hardness range is HB80 to 180. This varies with the specific alloy. We can machine oil grooves and oil holes to improve lubrication. These features help distribute oil evenly across the bearing surface.

Quality Control for Bushings
Bushings look simple. But the dimensional accuracy is very important. The concentricity of the bore and the outer diameter affects the assembly clearance. We inspect every critical dimension. The bore is measured with an air gauge or an internal micrometer. We check each part individually. Hardness and size are checked on a sampling basis. All inspection data is recorded. We check for cracks and sand holes. Important areas are inspected with non-destructive testing.
Complete Casting and Machining Capability
Our casting shop melts tin bronze and aluminum bronze. We use a spectrometer for chemistry analysis. This confirms the material is correct. After casting, the blanks go to our machining shop. Our CNC lathes do the turning. We machine the outer diameter, bore, and end faces in one clamping. This ensures good concentricity. Oil grooves and oil holes are machined with special tools. We have been doing this for 23 years. Our experience shows in the quality of our bushings.
